Structured Settlement Annuities

I have a structured settlement made payable on a weekly basis for the next 4 1/2 years. I need a down payment on my home. I want to know what the average lawyer fee is in obtaining that settlement in one lump sum

I am pretty sure there is no way to answer your question with any specificity.

The percentage would probably be based on the type of settlement, how much it was, what terms of the settlement were, stuff like that.

The only way to find this out is to start calling around and asking.

Good luck!

You don’t need or want a lawyer messing with this as they will charge unnecessary fees. You need to go with a company that specializes in allowing you to get a lump sum out of your settlement. Most of these companies will do this with no fee to you other then they discount the lump sum in order to cover there cost and risks like inflation. I have told a few people in yahoo about my experience with a firm called Platinum Financial. I was in the same place you were and they really helped me and gave me the best price for my payments. Check them out as they will give you a free quote and they are really great to work with.Their website is http://www.platfin.com I was nervous when I was trying to do this and they did not pressure me or anything like that. I am not exactly financial savvy but I did my homework and feel like they offered me the best price and service for what I wanted. The whole process took about 6 weeks and then they wired the money right into my bank account. I was shocked that I could do this but it was what my family needed at the time. If you want to ask me any questions about my experience then please email me if you want to. I have helped allot of people on yahoo with this as I know that it is like to be where you are right now.
