I have a 10 yr. averaging annual reset equity indexed annuity , started in 2003 . can i withdraw this money wi?
I am certain you can withdrawal this money. However, the amount of fees, taxes, or surrender charges you will pay cannot be determined without looking at the contract. Here is a guess: If it is a 10 year annuity, I will assume 10 years of declining surrender charges; and if you are in the 6th year, you are probably looking at a 4-5% surrender penalty. Call the carrier, use caution, and if you don’t need all of it…looking into other options (free withdrawals, interest withdrawals, policy loans, etc).
